I am a registered Mechanical Engineer currently employed as an Assistant Maintenance Manager - Trainee at Vallacar Transit Inc. Previously, I held the positions of Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Lead Supervisor.

As a Maintenance Planner, my responsibilities included creating maintenance plans and reports for assigned units. This involved developing preventive maintenance schedules for tasks such as engine oil changes, transmission oil changes, differential oil changes, power steering fluid changes, brake fluid checks, oil and fuel filter replacements, engine tune-ups, and air drier and air cleaner maintenance. I also handled daily submissions of retained units, generated high fuel reports, documented trouble and breakdown incidents, reported tire damage, estimated damages, prepared technical reports, scheduled and reported on maintenance personnel, and handled request and endorsement letters. Additionally, I prepared monthly maintenance reports and quarterly/semi-annual branch maintenance reports.

In my role as a Maintenance Lead Supervisor, I was responsible for overseeing spare parts availability, monitoring the attendance and performance of maintenance personnel, and supervising the repair of incoming units with urgent issues in our shop. This involved ensuring that necessary spare parts were in stock and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. I also monitored the attendance and performance of the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations. When units with urgent issues arrived, I supervised the repair process, coordinating with technicians and ensuring that the repairs were done promptly and accurately.

Prior to joining Vallacar Transit Inc., I gained valuable experience during my 5-month Cadetship contract at Hawaiian-Philippine Company in Silay City. During this time, I specialized in the repair and maintenance of various pumps and valves. I developed skills in pump-motor alignment, the use of precision measuring instruments and tools, different types of bearings, and boiler processes. This experience allowed me to gain a strong technical understanding of pumps and valves and enhanced my problem-solving abilities.

Additionally, I worked as a part-time data specialist at Qallity, Inc., where I assisted in soliciting construction bids for different companies in the USA. My responsibilities included encoding plan holders and the number of bids received. This role sharpened my attention to detail, data entry skills, and ability to work with tight deadlines.
