About

Programmer dedicated to Python Development, with a passion for solving problems

I'm a self-taught programmer currently graduating in System Development and Analysis, having worked at IBM and currently with Motorola.

Although I was a supply chain analyst, I have done automation tasks to increase the productivity of my team, as I saw the opportunity to use my technical knowledge to do so. This has led me to become a tech focal at my team, having automated various processes ranging from Order generation using VBA, backlog tracking on a web frame using Selenium, report generation with SQL and so on.

I focus on Python as my main programming language, although I've used C, C++ and Java before. I find Python to be very reliable, easy to use and understand, well documented, and a productivity boost to me. I'm so fond of it that I've created a Programming-focused Instagram, where I explain Python concepts everyday!

Programming is a hobby that is becoming more and more evident in my life. I hope to become a full-fledged developer in the future, and freelancing is the way I envision this to come to fruition!

Helping people solve their problems through development is what I love the most, and hope to do everyday in my life.

Work Terms

I value communication, and try my best to always be on the same page of the people I work with. Written or verbal communication are a must, and I focus on completely understanding the scope of the project before starting working on it.

I'd rather be paid in full once the job's done, if it's a rather small scope that can be solved within a few days. If it takes more than two weeks, I discuss with my contractors meaningful milestones that can be used to separate deliveries and with proportional payment. This depends heavily on the type of project.

I currently have a day job, which takes some of my time. As becoming a freelancer is my main goal, I work extra hours and put up the effort to deliver the best product in the best timeline possible.

The customer's needs are always taken into consideration. Timelines must be respected, and I always respect what was previously agreed upon. If any issues arise, I ensure that the contractor is aware, and that we can find a solution that won't impact their timeline so much.
