My name is Gwazi Tembo. In 2015, I graduated from DMI-ST JOHN THE BAPTIST UNIVERSITY, an Indian university operating in Malawi, Africa. After graduating, I have worked as a Data entry clerk intern for almost 1 year in 2016.This helped me to sharpen my skills in data entry and management, and it also helped me to gain more exposure in data entry clerk and management.

In 2017 and 2018, I had a chance to work as a Data entry clerk, and data Collector at KIRK DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH TRAINING AND CONSULTANTS, and CAPACITY BUILDING ORGANIZATION UNIT. This contributed in my huge knowledge and experience in mastering data entry standards, and also mastering data entry tools and softwares.

In 2019 to 2021, I was working as an independent monitor, and as a qualitative and quantitative data manager with THE BLANTYRE DISTRICT HEALTH OFFICE jointly with WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION. This has contributed in my leadership skills, and time management skills. Working for almost 3 years has helped me to acquire a lot of data entry techniques and methods.

In terms of my personal anecdotes, it happened that I was offered a job by FOR A CHANGE, a Netherland based organization operating in Thyolo district, Malawi. The organization wanted me to work for them as an independent researcher to assess the extent and nature of witchcraft in the mentioned district above. This was a very challenging task for me because of the nature and sensitivity of the topic. It was too involving because I had to collect the data myself, enter the data myself, analyze the data myself, produce a report, and present it to the directors. During data collection, I experienced a lot of resistance from the respondents because the topic was very sensitive, but I managed to collect the data. This experience made me more mature and knowledgeable.

In terms of my values, I am a person who believes in making things happen through observing deadlines, pay much attention to details, and also collaborate well with my supervisors and superiors. My hobbies are, I like searching for new information through doing different researches independently, and writing articles.

Work Terms

In, terms of hours of working, I would prefer if I can work 8 hours a day, that is 4 hours in the morning and the other 4 hours in the evening.

In terms of payment terms, I would prefer to be paid weekly, that is, after 7 days, $10 per hour. The payment method can be direct into my personal bank account or any means which your organization uses.

I am ready to adjust to any communication style which your organization uses mostly and it's comfortable and safe with.
