I am a military historian and battlefield guide in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, and I also freelance for the Northern Natal Courier in Dundee, Natal. I do sub-editing, proofreading and research, and I have also published a fiction novel in Afrikaans, in South Africa. I specialise in proofreading and editing documents like theses, articles, reports and similar work. I translate from Afrikaans into English, and vice versa. I have written several articles by now, and have translated two books for a Namibian author into into English, as well as several updates on other historical works, like the one indicated in my first portfolio piece.
