Quality programmer with lots of financial and developing experience
I have a Bachelor's in Business and Administration and 10+ years of experience within the field of finance and accounting where I have been responsible for among others accounting, budgeting, KPI analysis and reporting. Over this period, I developed many Excel \ VBA-based financial systems to ease the task in hand, namely to automate processes, provide better means for storing, analyzing and reporting financial data. To name two models that I developed:
- FISK is a BI model used in large international company. It was used in the accounting and consolidation process, to budget, to make reports and financial statements and to monitor key performance indicators (KPI). A link between the ERP-system of each subsidiary minimized manual input and increased consistency and security.
- COSK is a sales contribution system that was linked to the ERP-system, the internet and other Excel workbooks, such that all relevant information would be available to the sales force when making sales. Every offer was then stored in a SQL database, which both provided overview of the sale and more importantly it provided a security, that is when comparing it with actual cost associated with the sale.
My passion for developing and my desire of living abroad for a while lead me to take a Master's in Computer Science. With my experience and the knowledge obtained during my academic years, I intend to continue to developing high quality and advanced business solutions.
