Software Developer and Researcher
I'm a software developer specialising in machine learning, image analysis, and research.
I have extended experience with leading and participating in multi-national research projects, mainly in the field of medical data analysis. Past projects include automatic detection of lesions in retinal images, applying machine learning algorithms to classify at-risk patients, as well as creating image analysis tools for the gambling industry. Recent projects have resulted in many publications in top journals in the respective fields.
I carry a lot of prototype development in Matlab, which can then be ported to other platforms as needed. I'm also proficient in other programming languages such as .Net, C++, Java, PHP, and Javascript.
