Writer / Editor / Marketer / Wordsmith
I earned a bachelor's in creative writing before moving to Australia for a master's of journalism. Following my studies Down Under, I moved to New York, where I wrote dozens of articles for a website targeted at working women—many based on my own interviews with C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies—and edited two books. From there, I moved into marketing, working with Fortune 1000 companies to grow their email programs through better processes, data management, and email copy.
After helping other people sell their products for eight years, I decided to sell my own and opened a bakery, where it soon became obvious that my strengths were in the writing and marketing side of the business—and not so much in making a living from selling baked goods. So I closed shop, picked up a pen (metaphorically speaking), and haven't looked back.
