Work Terms
Here is a breakdown of the process I have formulated over the years.
STEP 1:
You have a design brief. We will meet over that and establish an understanding of what the project demands.
Conceptual Stage:
Here you will explain the design concept that you wish to explore.
I will ask you questions regarding
- User Journey
- UX/UI
- The Lifecycle of the Product
- Material Choice
- Method of Manufacturing
Once this is decided, we'll proceed to the next Step.
STEP 2:
The second step is the design stage. This is perfect for clients who have the product visualized and want to make minor adjustments based on the product's functionality.
Design Stage:
This includes the iterative design sketches of the product that we have finalized.
It varies from product to product. Some projects might require only one product sketch, while others require two to three concepts with concept-based illustrations of the end product.
It may or may not include the following:
- Product sketches
- Material Board
- Mood Boards (Varying for each product concept)
- Rendered sketches showing different views/perspective

STEP 3:
Once the design has been finalized, we develop a 3D visualization of it based on the measurements and dimensions provided by the client or set through the design process.
Modeling Stage:
I will use the software to design the 3D model of the product and produce rendered views. In some cases, even animation.

STEP 4:
The technical details of the products. These are scaled drawings with varying line widths to mark line thickness when configuring the design for manufacturing.
I like working in an organized manner and would provide a customized work schedule once we have our design brief set.
