Environmental chemist with ample experience editing technical materials and translating from Spanish to English
I have worked for over 20 years in the field of environmental chemistry performing exposure studies and human health risk assessments for chemical exposures in the workplace, home and outdoor environments. I have authored, reviewed and edited numerous technical documents in the environmental field as well as other subject areas (medicine, biology, health, etc.). My work has been published in journals and government reports. Past employers include Clorox, DuPont and the consulting firms Environ and ICF.
While living in South America, I learned Spanish and offer Spanish-to-English translation of technical and non-technical works. I have traveled extensively in Spain and Latin America and understand regional differences in the language.
Work Terms
I am available until September 29, 2014, at which time I will start my doctoral degree in environmental science at UCLA. Small and large tasks are welcome, and I know how to meet deadlines faithfully.
