Imagination, Innovation, & Design

I am a mechanical engineer by trade, with a passion for bridging the technical aspects of design with the artistic. Many people see the world as black & white, however I have always been a firm believer that as long as you look hard enough you will find there is always some gray in between. In the same breath, I believe this is true with form & function in the design world. One cannot exist without the other, but finding the perfect balance between the two is a true art. Some might find it strange that I am a strong advocate of both form & function considering my engineering background, however as technomad Steven Roberts once said "Art with engineering is dreaming, engineering without art is calculating".
