I have been transcribing audio and video files for the past six years. I am expert on both strict and non-strict verbatim transcription styles. Most of the video files that I transcribe are TV show segments, teleseminars, movies, sitcoms. For audio transcriptions, they are general in content - podcasts, interviews, focus groups, dictations, et cetera. I focus on two things: speed and accuracy.
Aside from my transcription skills, I also have more than a year of call center experience as a phone technical support representative. My job entails me to troubleshoot routers, repeaters (wireless extenders), modem, and gateways. Most of the work that I did are initial setup of the device, signal restoration, firmware upgrade, configuration, et cetera. I know how to handle different types of customer, and I developed technical skills that helped me understand the internet world.
