Associated Press style (press releases, articles, etc.):
I know it inside and out. As an editor at a newspaper, one of my primary pet peeves was PR firms and companies that sent press releases in their own style — not the industry’s. It’s critical that you send a release that’s ready to run as-is and that offers value to the reader, whenever possible. If your release doesn’t do that, it’ll go in the trash faster than you can imagine.

Communication:
Readily available by e-mail, AIM and phone. E-mail is preferred method of communication as I am out of cell phone range if I'm visiting family (which, as a full-time freelancer I have the luxury to do often!).
Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m.-7 p.m. EST
Friday-Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. EST
Otherwise by appointment
Payment: For first-time clients: 50% deposit via SafePay Invoicing before initial draft submitted OR funds deposited into Escrow before draft submitted. Escrow for all projects spanning more than one week, or over $300.
