Substation design engineer

- Management for secondary design for both GIS / AIS substations till 500kV.
- Reviewing of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), power transformer and Metal clad Switchgear CT / VT Data and Complete Base/Detailed Design Documents.
- Communicate with contractors, clients, vendors, site and commissioning engineers about design related issues at all different stages of the project.
- Reviewing of Manufacturer Relay & Control Panels such as Line, Transformer, Busbar, Capacitor, Bus Coupler / Section, Under-voltage / Under-frequency Load Shedding, Revenue / Energy Metering, SYNC Panels…..
- Modify existing drawings and prepare base and detail designs for retrofitting projects.
- Familiar with the schematic drawings for SIEMENS, ABB, SCHNIDER, AL-FANAR…
- Control & protection Schematic drawings design till 500kv using E3 program

Work Terms

Has excellent with honor degree in electrical engineering with more than 6 years experience in HV substation design till 500KV in both EGYPT & KSA & more than one year in oil field as a frac acid operator
