A programme management, institutional development & governance expert

I am a programme management, institutional development and local governance expert with over 25 years of hands-on expertise.Overall, I have over 22 years of hands-on experience in national and international development, humanitarian assistance, peace-building, community mobilization, policy advocacy, pastoral development, human resource development and strategic management in Kenya, South Sudan and Somalia. My experiences include leading and managing large, multi-sectoral teams of national partners, sector and international experts in mobilizing and organizing community groups to plan, implement and manage sustainable development programs and respond to emergency situations. Working with different government departments and civil society actors, I have coordinated and implemented drought relief, rehabilitation and recovery programmes, El-Niño and Tsunami emergencies in Kenya, South Sudan and Somalia.
