MBA Finance Grad and Level 3 Candidate in the CFA program with 3 years of experience working as a software engineer at IT consulting firm

I am an MBA graduate (Finance and Analytics) from the University of Iowa, and a 2017 level 3 candidate in the CFA program. I am writing to express my keen interest in a Financial Analyst position being offered by Squarespace.

I have expanded my skill set during the past two years to include a sound knowledge of financial management and modelling. In addition to passing the first two levels of the CFA exam, my curriculum at University of Iowa has provided me with opportunities to learn and practically apply knowledge of quantitative analysis, data analysis, equity research, financial analysis, fixed income securities, derivatives as well as analytical tools such as advanced excel, creating macros using VBA in excel, spreadsheet modelling, R-Programming, SQL, and Tableau. These practical experiences, coupled with extensive coursework in finance and analytics, has allowed me to successfully deliver results to Fortune 100 clients.

My three years of work experience as a senior analyst at a leading IT consulting firm has prepared me to address unique complex circumstances, and quickly adapt to evolving business needs to better serve my clients under compressed time frames. I rely on my adaptability to succeed within many different roles, and industries. I believe my ability to relate cross functionally within all areas of an enterprise, especially those with a focus on leveraging technology, will differentiate my skill-set and allow me to deliver high-quality results and ultimately, drive business at your firm.
