From 2008-2012, I volunteered for One Laptop Per Child, a non-profit organization, which was responsible for running hundreds of pilot programs, grassroots, and distributing millions of laptops throughout the third world countries in hopes that it would help educate the children and make them more familiar with the current technology. There, I was working with my group on a few projects, including our own game for the specific machine, XO-1. I was also responsible for user assistance and technical support, and a member of weekly decision making panel concerning new projects. As the leader of the group working on the project, it was my responsibility to maintain the pace, stability and the goals of it.

I work well with others, as I have had the chance to also work in a team at Sugarlabs from 2008-2010, as a member of decision-making panel over SOAS(Sugar On a Stick, a variant of Linux operating system for a children), and a volunteer. I enthusiastically got involved in brainstorming for new ideas at GameJudgment with my fellow writers. I am known to think logically before methodically progressing over my assignments and work fast and efficiently. The fact that over the years, I have had to present my ideas to various key-members of the organizations I worked for, as well as my experience in support, has vastly improved my communication skills and efficiency.

My technical expertise includes cross-platform proficiency (Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac); Very advanced skills in Office-Suite, A fair amount of knowledge of programming languages (C, Java, HTML, XML & SQL) and a very advanced knowledge of computer hardware. I am very familiar with computers, considering I have had a personal computer for over 15 years by now, since I was 3.
