Fresh thinking on software engineering
In the two decades of its existence, Acism has amassed valuable insights from its own projects and those of others. In a world where only 1 out of 3 software projects succeeds, Acism took up the role of a seeker. We explored technologies and processes to understand which are the factors that make the difference.
Acism now practices a systematic "X-SDLC" approach, used in the agile way. It aids in quantitative progress planning and tracking. It also gives unprecedented visibility into the working of the software. Domain experts or clients can use this visibility to avoid costly rework. X-SDLC also allows one to speed up the project using outside freelancers.
Acism has its infrastructure for configuration management, defect tracking, project collaboration etc. We use those on most projects.
Apart from carrying out outsourced software development work, Acism also consults other larger companies on their challenging engagements.

Work Terms
We work in either Time and Material, Retainership or Fixed bid models. The latter is possible only when the requirements are defined well upfront. In case those are not, then we can do a phase of only capturing the requirements correctly, before drawing up the fixed bid for the rest of the development.
Typical payment schedule:
- Advance plus monthly payments
