Skilled Accountant who wants to help his clients prosper!

My name is Adam Baker. I am a Licensed CPA in the state of Minnesota. Currently, I am doing the bookkeeping for a small glass company (10 hours per month), a food stand company (2 hours per month in the summer), and a church (20 hours per month). I am also an Accounting Instructor at Minnesota State Community and Technical College - Moorhead, MN. I teach any and everything accounting, from the basics to payroll, Quickbooks, and Fund Accounting. I teach mostly online which allows me to do freelance work on the side. My background started out in private accounting for a couple of years, before I moved on to public accounting. I worked in the public accounting arena for 3 years (primarily in Govenrmental/Nonprofit Auditing) before I moved on to teaching, where I've been lending my talents since 2010. As far as remote work goes, the jobs I currently have are partially remote. I do most everything remotely, except write checks. Also, I pick up small accounting projects on Upwork. Previously, I have been contracted by a Franchising company based out of Bangkok, Thailand, where I turned their foreign books into US GAAP Financial Statements using Quickbooks Online. In addition to that, I was contracted by a baseball/softball company based out of Austin, Texas, for about 5 months in 2014 (Bookkeeping/Payroll/Financial Statements/Quickbooks).
