I'm a freelance journalist, social media and audience development specialist, copy writer and speaker based in Toronto.
I can’t stop playing with new mediums in media. I've worked in Audience Development at HuffPost Canada, where I developed and executed Instagram and Twitter strategies while handling their Facebook accounts' social scheduling and writing daily newsletters to an audience of +30,000. I also currently serve as an associate of Ryerson’s Transmedia Zone.
As a Journalist, I write about technology, East-Asian culture, business and lifestyle.
I previously studied and worked in international development, which led me to work in South America, South West Asia and East Africa before landing in Taiwan, where I lived for six years. While there, I co-founded and grew a chain of smoothie restaurants from the ground up using guerilla marketing and social media strategy, eventually building a following of several thousand dedicated customers.
