Sweet has a BA in Psychology from Hampshire College (1985). With over two decades of both retail and B2B sales experience, his training and background have proved invaluable to troubleshooting and solving challenges inherent in any business situation.
Sweet's experience working as a top buyer with Whole Foods for almost ten years gives him a leg up over companies just getting started in the industry.
With eight months of training in Germany at a manufacturer's location, Sweet knows the complications and issues attributed to bringing a natural product to the market from farm to table. His years of business to business sales and customer service have cemented the process.
Ten years of supply-chain management coupled with fourteen years of research, procurement, purchasing and project management overseas with an import/export partnership taught Sweet the valuable lessons necessary for accomplishing any manufacturing and development challenge.
Research and Lead Generation have always been a strongpoint in Sweet's Career. Before the internet, Lead Generation included developing a strong personal network within the industry to determine the key players. Post internet these networks are easier to locate using tools such as Salesforce, Data, LinkedIn and Insight. Sweet has been trained in all 4 tools and utilizes them with all clients.
