The ultimate goal for anyone who works with data is to have it in a neat, accurate and carefully organized format - Lucky for you that is what I'm good at.
My job is to:
- Convert your source data from whatever form they come in, to any document of your choice, that you can easily analyze.
- Update your current database with new data and maintain an already existing database by eliminating duplicate data, updating the format and effecting changes.
- Create a database for your records, inventory, etc and recommend solutions that suit your exact needs.
- Sort, compile, review, validate, summarize and aggregate your data to ensure that it is accurate, accessible and legible.
-Convert your source data to the format of your choice e.g, from PDF to Excel, CSV to Doc.
- Transcribe documents from one form to another: image to text, audio to text and video to text.
All this I do while keeping your information HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL (which is the most important part of my job).expertise for me.
My software skills include
- Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Office 365 administration)
- Google Suite ( Google docs, sheets, slides and Google Admin)
- PDF
- CSV files
- Airtable
- Tableau
Studying Engineering and working in the tech space gives you a good understanding of how data works, how it can be used and what people want to see when they look at it. This makes it easier for me to work with clients and deliver effectively. It also gives me a good idea of which software will be ideal for my client's needs.
Work Terms
I work a total of 15hrs-20hrs during the weekdays and 6hrs on weekends.
