About

Motivated self starter with over 20 years of clerical & customer service experience in the information and technology, insurance, banking and finance industries.

I grew up in British Columbia, Canada and have always enjoyed traveling. My traveling brought me to Arizona where my grandfather use to winter as a "rock hound" and my mom & I wanted to see what they did every winter. It was here that I met my now husband. My husband and his family are from Missouri and by chance he was visiting his parents in Arizona at the same time. The rest they say is history. Our work, since then, has taken us to many different places in the southern US, Arizona, California, Texas, Mississippi and Missouri. I worked with a large company here in Springfield, Missouri as a Financial Service Advisor and for the last year have worked as an IT Specialist but to supplement our income I am looking to obtain a position that will utilize my skills and training, attention to detail and organization skills in the insurance, clerical and accounting fields. Dedicated Assistant and Licensed Insurance Agent with seven years experience posting and recording amendments, endorsements, new policies and cancellations in the commercial and personal lines insurance industry. Requesting and implementing the policy amendments by contacting underwriting insurance companies. I assisted six busy Commercial Insurance Representatives with all clerical duties and appointments. Computer skills include proficiency in MS Word & Excel, AccPac Plus, QuickBooks Pro & Accountant.

Work Terms

I am available, as a part time clerical assistant or data entry assistant, with the ability to work 4 to 8 hours per day. I request that positions pay a minimum of $15.00 US per hour or piece work based on time needed to complete assignment.
