I have worked in a retail business for 6years managing over 20,000 inventory items. This involved data entry, cleaning, analyzing and reporting findings for necessary actions. At the end of each year sales and purchase budget is set alongside the operating expenses. On monthly basis I forecast sales and purchase for the next one month. This also enables a performance review and taking necessary actions to close identified gaps before the end of the year.

One of my major challenge on inventory management was negative inventory which root cause analysis showed that data entry at a point or the other was the root cause of it. Action items were listed and turned into process to fight it. Though not completely gone but it is being well managed in a way that it would not significantly affect the business.

I believe in:
- Knowledge sharing because it makes life easy and smooth. I therefore developed a manual on inventory management in retail business and used it to train new hires.
- Integrity: I walk the talk, I keep to terms and conditions agreed upon and every business ends with a smile.
- Teamwork: because of diversity, my strength lies in team spirit; recognizing everyone's importance and contribution.
