Some of my work experience in chronological order includes:

1. Becoming part of the first compliance team of Revolut, seeing to its early stage developments, and participating in the creation of their first specialised anti-money laundering investigations team.

2. Joining the AML team in TransferWise, where I dedicated my everyday to investigating complex AML/CFT cases from countries across all continents, and submitting Suspicious Activity/Transaction Reports to over 10 FIUs.

3. Adopted the role of MLRO and compliance officer in a Singaporean headquartered crypto currency company (TenX) just before the implementation of the 5MLD, helping the business register in Europe and becoming a pioneer in obtaining a virtual currency license, as well as securing their European e-money license.

4. Became Klarna's head of AML operations, redefining their department structure, investigation procedures and helped improve compliance areas with advisory tasks on better implementation of regulatory requirements.

5. Currently I am a freelance AML consultant, with one part time engagement at the moment, where I have helped the Finnish e-money firm Narvi Payments to secure their virtual currency license, as well as developed their compliance procedures and most AML related policies from scratch. I continue to serve as their MLRO.

Work Terms

At the moment, I can safely commit around 20 hours weekly, but more is possible on negotiation. I am open to the client's preferred way of communication (whatsapp, telegram, email, scheduled catch up videocalls, etc).
