I’m Adriana, Graphic Designer from Costa Rica. With 10 years of experience, working on fields of advertising, branding and social media. I have a Bachelor Degree in Advertising and Graphic Design from Veritas University.
I describe myself as a creative, open-minded, and disciplined designer.
What I like about design, is to transform a message written in words into a visual and powerful code, to communicate and tell a story.
I speak spanish, english and french. That's why my book explanations are in spanish, but I think it shouldn't be a problem.. the visual world is a universal language!
I’ve start my career in Graphic Design, first doing my college practice in an agency named Garnier BBDO. Then I’ve made a community work in CIPAC, an ONG who treats the rights of the LGBT community.
Then I’ve worked in several agencies (big companies like Ogilvy & Matter, BBDO, Grey) designing both ATL and BTL for brands in different areas like health, telephony, banking, fashion, food industry, entertainment, etc.
I've worked on Branding (logos, business cards, stationary...), Print Advertising (flyers, newspaper and magazine ads, brochures...), Poster design (for events, music bands, movies...) and Book Cover Design.
And over the past few years, I've worked on the digital field. Most of all creating Social Media campaigns (for The Coca-Cola Company Latin America), banners and landing pages.
Beside working in agencies, I've also worked freelance by my own (even with time difference of 8 hours) working mostly in branding, and print design like flyers, poster, book cover design and brochures.
