I have a Masters Degree in Sociology with more than 25 years of experience in writing, content development, and content design. For more than 12 years now, I have been an Instructional Designer managing different kinds of projects for clients worldwide. I have complemented this experience with a certificate course in “Multiple Intelligences” conducted by Harvard Graduate School, USA.
The following briefly describes my work as an Instructional Designer with Tata Interactive Systems (TIS):
1. University of Phoenix: Used TIS’s proprietary Simulation-Based Learning (SimBL™) methodology to conceptualize, script, and review educational simulations for University of Phoenix. The subjects ranged from Public Relations to Business Management.
2. Procter & Gamble (P&G): Conducted an onsite pilot study (in Cincinnati) for the launch of P&G’s global leadership development program.
3. Ingersoll-Rand: Conducted an onsite systems study in Davidson to conceptualize and develop a simulation (SimBL™) for their project proposal process.
4. General Electric (GE): Conceptualized and developed several simulations (SimBL™) for training on technical topics. Was onsite in Atlanta to advise on using TIS’s proprietary Story-Based Learning (StoBL™) methodology to create a learning package on a technical topic.
5. United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA): Used the StoBL™ methodology to create a learning package on their knowledge management tools. Was onsite in the New York office for the systems study.
6. McGraw-Hill: Was onsite in Columbus to coordinate the development of their Oracle-based systems training program.
7. Early College: Was in Dallas and Baltimore to develop educational courses at the US high school level. Was leading a team of 20 instructional designers in Baltimore.
In Cognizant, I achieved $4.5 million in e-learning projects before resigning in Sep. 2012. Also created more than a 1000 e-learning proposals and won many new logos like McDonalds.
