Akarshan Chauhan is an Architect based in New Delhi, India. He completed his Bachelors in Architecture from Vastu Kala Academy College of Architecture affiliated with Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture.
He is an Architect that believes in using vernacular ideas and implementing them with the help of modern technologies for efficiency. He is a follower of the idea that form should follow function and that minimalism will always prevail over needless chaos in architecture.
He has an ingenious mind that provides innovative ideas to common issues faced during designing. He has knowledge of most of the software used in modern times - Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, Vray, Lumionm Twinmotion, Microsoft Office, Illustrator.
His skillset varies from bringing forth innovative architectural design strategies and concepts to producing photorealistic renderings of the design itself for the client.
He believes that there is no single approach that works for every design problem so he thrives on facing new challenges and problems and tries new ideas based on experiences and his own researches.
During his academic course, he built a distinct interest in Passive design strategies that help in cutting down energy consumption by using the Wind, solar pattern, and immediate surroundings to the fullest. Therefore his design strategies are environment conscious and hence aimed towards reducing energy bills as well. As a responsible inhabitant of this planet, this has to be the foremost priority of an architect and he realizes that. His research paper is published in issuu website.

Work Terms

I work from Monday to Saturday and in some occasions on Sundays as well, if urgent.
Timings- 4:00pm IST to 10:00pm IST - is flexible based on requirement/urgency.
