Coder, musician, writer. I do things that involve highly organized information.
Home schooled for the majority of grade school, I learned to teach myself. This skill came in useful when I graduated with a degree in music education and decided to go into computer programming. I resurrected old simulations I'd worked on in my teens that extended the rules of Conway's Game of Life, rewriting them in c for speed, and used that as a portfolio to get a job in medical records programming.
Ten years later I'm still programming, primarily in C# and python. I'm also a good writer and proof reader. My approach to programming is that of a highly precise language art and I feel that the skill sets overlap for those with this approach.
Work Terms
I'm available for communications between 9am and 10pm CDT. I typically charge $60/hour for freelance work. Email is my preferred method of communication, with a switch to internet or phone calls for topics where there is a lot of back and forth or where screen sharing is useful.
