I am a Resilience Consultant, with a large experience in Telecommunications and IT Security, convinced of the importance of the experience and scientific research to bring a sound advisory
As Electronics engineer I discovered the magic of academic learning tested on the field to help people and organizations to achieve their goals when needing support on key topics different from their subject of expertise.
During an operational Risk Assessment in 2010 I found that the processes probability of disruption used to be conducted without a solid mathematical ground, leading to a distorted Risk Map used later for making strategic desicions. In 2015 I published some mathematical models trying to approach the real behavior of process disruption.
This effort produced the discovery of a theorem that was submitted before the academic community in 2019, afterwards published in 2020 along with other mathematical arguments about Business Continuity and Risk Management in the book: Probability and Business Impact - a Mathematical Approach to Business Continuity. This finding led me to offer the service: Organizational Mathematical Modeling, succesfully applied to Oil and Gas companies. Now the research is, probably, the key differentiator of what I do to support my customers along with hands-on expertise on telecommunications and security.
