A recruitment agency for remote developers

KnowCamp is a tech recruitment agency based in Hungary, specializing in recruiting remote workforce from Central and Eastern Europe to work for companies worldwide. We are a new, emerging company, and we are excited to work with new clients.

We recruit employees from a region where the cost-of-living is significantly lower than in some other countries, meaning our candidates have lower salary expectations than what our clients are used to.

We are located in Hungary, and we have hundreds of connections all over Central and Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Romania). We recruit candidates from these regions to work remotely and internationally.

Work Terms

We do not work on an hourly basis. We do contingency searches, meaning we only get paid when we successfully provide our clients with a candidate they hire.

Our service includes posting to job boards, going through our talent pool, LinkedIn headhunting, resume sourcing, phone screening, testing (coding challenges for developers and skill assessment tests), interviewing, and offer management.

Our commission is 10-15% of the candidates' first year's base salary, which entails a 90-day guarantee for all of our placements. Our exact fee depends on the nature of the position(s), and it is always to be negotiated based on the specific expectations for the role.
