Communication, documentation, training and support are just the beginning.
My strength and experience lies in outstanding interpersonal and written communication and customer service skills, extensive experience in technical fields, a mastery of the English language (native), and great word processing and spreadsheet skills. I have administrative experience in the hospitality setting, dealing with management operations including invoicing, book keeping, event scheduling, and more. I have more than ten years of field experience installing and maintaining residential and commercial satellite equipment, which provided me with excellent customer service opportunities in person, over the phone, and via email.
I have built and populated online knowledge bases for clients, and have worked with C-level management to collect and identify ideal features for implementation in SaaS offerings.
I have two years of undergraduate college study in the field of computer science, and have some knowledge of C++, PHP, and MySQL; I also have extensive experience with an obscure scripting program called ACTools. I'm a native English speaker with excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
My greatest programming achievement was the (independent, unpaid) development and implementation of an optical character recognition algorithm using ACTools, more than 10 years ago. The OCR program was used to view in-game text from a MMORPG, input that data into an SQL database, process the data, and then display that data onto a website at a user's request. I had a working prototype running before life took me in another direction.
I am highly proficient at acquiring new knowledge and skills to meet the changing demands of whatever role in which I serve. I consider myself somewhat of an autodidact.
Work Terms
My work hours are highly flexible if given enough advanced notice. I am looking to build relationships with quality clients who are responsive and detailed.
