I am a native English speaker, and studied Spanish formally for 8 years. I majored in Spanish in college which allowed me to perfect my knowledge of formal Spanish, which in written Spanish, includes accent marks, grammatical tenses, and sentence structure. I conducted research completely in Spanish in northern Colombia, and analyzed the results and produced a research paper completely in English, which is a testament to my proficiency in each language, as well as my ability to work simultaneously with both languages. I have strong written communication skills, and have also worked as a Spanish tutor in which I aided college students to develop spoken and written Spanish skills, and guided students through the writing process from conception, writing, and editing in multiple drafts.
