I´m a professional oud player and tutor. I have been playing the oud since 2005 and I have been teaching it since 2017. I have studied traditional music and ethnomusicology in the Faculty of Arts - Department of Traditional music in Arta, Greece, specialized in the oud.
I have been transcribing songs or compositions from all over the Eastern Mediterranean (Greek, Turkish, Armenian traditional) or modern world music compositions, especially if related to modal music systems, for 10 years. I´m experienced in using microtoanl intervals in the case of makam transcription.
