I grew up in Italy but, while studying, I traveled across Europe and the US to improve my language skills. I attended several language and translation courses in Cannes, Madrid, San Francisco, Riga and Berlin. In 2013 I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in translation from the University of Genoa.
It was when I moved to Riga in 2014 that I started working regularly as a freelancer, cooperating with a film production company. My work consisted in translating, subtitling and proofreading a collection featuring 70 Latvian films. While in Riga I also completed my long-distance MA programme in IR and worked as a policy research assistant intern in a leading Latvian think-tank. My duties at PROVIDUS included not only assisting other researchers, but also writing on EU politics, proofreading English reports and working as an English-Italian consecutive interpreter on occasion of meetings with partners of EU projects.
Work Terms
At the time I am available for both short and long-term projects. Urgent deadlines and intensive work hours are not an issue.
