I enjoyed talking to Carol and she was eager to learn new tools and new skills. In this particular pilot project, I believe we had some miscommunication, b/c I wanted some early check-ins to make sure the VA was headed in the direction I had in mind. The output was creative and timely (Carol communicated it would be a few days b/c she was taking time to learn the requisite tools, which was great initiative). Having Carol speak clear English as a first language helped overcome many barriers that a lot of foreign VAs present.
