An exceptional virtual assistant with skills in a variety of areas.
I started working when I was 16 as a shop assistant, interior decorating. As this was a small business it was all hands on deck for anything that needed to get done. From making tea to working out quotations to servicing clients. This is where my love of organization and administration started. I worked there for 13 years then moved on to a bigger company which manufactured blinds. There I started as a brand manageress. I worked my way slowly learning all aspects of that business. I find that it is useful to know each stage of a job in order to better understand my co-workers and how a product is completed from the ordering of raw materials to payment of the finished product. Once again worked for this company for 13 years before becoming a homemaker full time. I love my animals and my daughter very much and wanted to spend more time with them. My husband was working on the oil rigs at that time so we could afford to be a 1 income family. With my daughter growing up and not needing as much of my attention I started to look for freelance work. So I joined a company called Tradepro which entailed data mining for contacts then communicating with them telephonically to get leads for the property brokers. I advanced to team leader in this company. I had to leave them as the pay was erratic and commission-based. So I do feel I have a vast experience in the business world. I am a good team player but can work solo without supervision. I am dedicated and have a strong moral and work ethic. I am more than willing to learn new things and ways of doing things and I enjoy a challenge. Since working with Tradepro I have gone out on my own and social media marketing, e-mail marketing and SMS marketing for smaller companies in my area. These have proven to be successful.
Work Terms
I live in South Africa so my prefered working times are 9 am till 4 pm GMT +2. My preference is to get paid weekly via direct deposit into my bank account.
