Always enjoys a good challenge

I currently more than 20 years working with Oracle from version 5 till version 12. I have covered almost every aspect of the development cycle. This includes design, develop, tune and mainly support of large scale systems. I have also given lectures regarding Oracle DBA for a few years to new and advanced students.
In the Passed 5 years was working on building RAC systems over Linux. The requirement was to build a system, ship it to a customer and make it work for 5 years automatically without software downtime and without an on site DBA. Since remote connection was in ViewOnly mode, a set of tools was developed to enable restore or recovery after a crashed hardware. It is one thing installing a system and fixing it when it brakes and a totally different thing designing it not to brake at all. I suspect you can always find a cheaper solution than me or a better one. It is difficult though to find them both in one person...

I usually work on long term projects, but since this is a new platform we can also work on a short project/requirement till trust is being build.
