Remote CAD Drafter, Proficient Autodesk Inventor user

Hi, I decided to join guru.com to have an additional income as my wife is in the hospital suffering from a brain damage.

I am Alvin Sarona from Cebu Philippines. A BSIT major in Drafting graduate. I have been working as a Cad Drafter, Design Technician and a Product Designer for almost 10 years. I am a very workaholic person, very keen on details, Always learning new things. I have been working remotely for almost 3 years now and most of my clients are from Australia and the UK. I will do anything to make my Clients satisfied with my works. I am using a desktop Computer with 2 monitors in all of my works, I have a reliable fast internet connection and a quite workplace. During my free time, I watch YouTube video tutorials. I don't play sports, I always stays at home. In my family, I am the only one who has work, the rest works in the farm in our province

Below are my work experience when I was working on site:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of data of piece drawing for numerical control machines. On the graphic of CAD,
outline of each piece is drawn the supplemental information which contains a name, installation
stage, the direction of beveling, attribution of each line (outline, hole, marking line, etc.)

• Preparation of data of small piece drawing not used for numerical control (NC) machine. Small
pieces (generally the size below 300 mm. X 300 mm.) which cannot be controlled by NC machine,
plotted out by actual size through copy machine after preparation of data in the graphic of CAD.
Based on these data of actual size, each piece is fabricated by hand cutting or by the use of eye
tracer machine.

• Preparation of list of production data for profiles and flat bars. As all profiles and flat bars are
fabricated by hand marking/hand cutting, it is necessary to prepare the list for marking which
shows the shape of both ends, size, and position of air holes/drain holes.

Work Terms

Can work 4-5 hours a day using my desktop Computer with 2 monitors in all of my works, I have a reliable fast internet connection and a quite workplace
