Hi!

I currently live in Northern Colorado and am the mother to two wonderful children, as well as a wife to a great man.

I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2006 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I quickly obtained a position designing control systems for the power generation industry. I design hydraulic systems to operate valves on large steam turbines. I also engineer the electrical control system and hardware to operate these turbines. I love what I do. I have to come up with some pretty creative solutions to our customers' problems. It is a wonderful feeling when you have a satisfied customer who requests you, specifically, for any further work.

Aside from engineering work, I am adept at proofreading and other administrative type of tasks. I have a strong background in technical writing, which I use every day in my current position. I am in charge of reviewing and editing proposals in my current position. I would love to put these skills to work for you.

When I'm not working, I am enjoying my family, hiking, camping or training for long distance triathlon and running races. I have a very full life and love the outdoors.
