Oxford University Graduate.
Please note, I also go by the name Scarlett, I can provide proof of that if needed.
I have recently completed my master's in US History at the prestigious University of Oxford. Before this, I gained my undergraduate degree in wider History at the University of Warwick (BA Hons).
During my time at university, I wrote several original pieces, researched complex topics, and proof-read/ edited countless essays. After submitting successful applications, both universities awarded me independent research grants. I used the money to conduct niche archival investigations over several American states.
I have also presented at three major conferences. Most proudly, at the British Academy Conference on Prohibition, I was the only undergraduate chosen to take part. I am thus happy to assist with applications to universities, grants, or conferences if need be.
Further, my boyfriend recently re-started education as a mature student. As a result, I have experience editing and advising others on essays. This includes assisting with structural issues, grammar, and content. I would be happy to read essays/ article submissions if needed.
Finally, I also work a lot with computers. I have an AS-Level in Computing where I studied Visual Basics. I code a lot of HTML in my spare time and understand the basics of web development. I also hold Microsoft Office Specialist Qualifications in Excel and Word.
