My work is focused on providing clear and persuasive writing as well as extremely accurate edits. Your satisfaction is my priority, and I will always work until you love the results!
My name is Amber Wallace, and I am a newlywed, a soon-to-be-mother, and a full-time university student.
I currently work in the University Writing Center, where I help students every day to improve their writing and editing skills. I received over 50 hours of specialized training to become a tutor, and have conducted over 200 tutorials since August 2015. Working in the Writing Center has given me the opportunity to work with writing from all disciplines, including business, chemistry, social sciences, and politics.
I am studying English Teaching and Teaching English as a Second Language and will graduate in Spring 2017. I have taken specialized courses in writing and grammar, and I have also learned to conduct and write about research at an academic level.
I am fluent in the Tagalog language because I lived in the Philippines for 1.5 years. Now I am focusing on Spanish in my classes at school and am learning quickly. I enjoy learning and teaching languages.
I'm just starting out as a freelance writer so that I can help provide income from home while my husband finishes his schooling. We are expecting our first baby in October, and are very excited! I hope to be able to build a strong portfolio so that freelance writing can be a work-from-home career for me as we build our family and finish our degrees.
Work Terms
I am available to work anytime between 7am-9pm that I am not at school or work, and those hours differ from day to day. I can be reached easily by email at any time, but other means such as calling or Skype may be arranged. I also reserve Sundays for family and religious commitments, and so I do not work, but if you have a Sunday or Monday morning deadline it will be to you by Saturday night.
