Business & Financial Consultant with Financial modeling experience

I possess a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Finance. I have a work experience of 6+ years and worked with global names as a Management Consultant / Financial Consultant. Around a year ago, I decided to start on my own helping new and smaller companies with my financial skills (analysis, monitor and forecasts) acting as a financial advisor and also raising capital for them.

I have advised several businesses through various stages of growth; market entry, expansion and revival. During the course of my professional life, I have developed, analyzed and reviewed several business plans, corporate strategy plans, feasibility reports, marketing plans and business action plans across multiple sectors.

Work Terms

All work will be completed using Microsoft Office applications Word, PowerPoint, and/or Excel and sharable during development. I do not typically use pre-packaged "business plan" software as none of the available packages are robust enough to adapt to the nuances of most companies' financial modeling needs.

All financial models created will be based on a proprietary Microsoft Excel template. You will always be able to change any of the many assumptions in your customized version of the model’s various worksheets. The effects of the change will then automatically flow through all related numbers throughout the entire model. This will clarify for you and your investors all the potential financial effects of various possible future scenarios, such as -
- different levels of revenue estimation (production, pricing, customer count etc.),
- Operating expenses (Employee utilization and cost forecasts, Raw Material requirement, Power and Fuel requirement, Overhead expenses, etc.),
- CAPEX modeling (Cost of business set-up, Additional asset acquisition schedule, Depreciation tables, etc.),
- Sources of Finance and incidental expenses (equity, debt, interest rates, etc.),
- Financial statements modeling (Income statement, Balance sheet and Cash-flow).

For any modeling affected by laws and regulations, such as depreciation for tax accounting purposes, you might have to point me towards regulations applicable in your country.

The time required to complete your plan or presentation largely depends on the complexity of your business and how quickly you can –
a) Provide me with information about your plans, products and services, competition, marketing approach, etc. and
b) Respond to my questions as the project proceeds. I will include in my work, suggestions for you on all of the important elements.
