Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Professional | Communicator & Negotiator

Amit, based in Delhi, is currently the Regional Procurement Manager Strategic Sourcing with Nestle from 2019 onwards. Here, he was leading the procurement division to achieve the strategic objectives of organization, developing and implementing category strategies, managing greenfield and brownfield project procurement. Delivered multiple successful category management projects across geographies / categories i.e. Direct or Indirect.

Prior to this, he was Assistant General manager at Amcor Flexibles India Private Limited from September 2013 to December 2017.In this role, he was all India Procurement head where he developed and implemented strategies for the organisation to meet their goals and objectives. He was responsible for spend profiling, procurement transformation and supplier rationalization across India. He worked towards cost modelling, procurement strategy tools and contract management for the organisation during his tenure. Before this, he was Assistant Manager at KPMG Global Services from September 2011 to August 2013. Here, he was a part of the delivery team on sourcing and procurement related projects for clients. He formulated procurement strategy, prepared cost control measure reports and evaluated project scope by determining sourcing approach and methodology. He performed in depth analysis of submitted proposals, drawing conclusions and preparing comprehensive summaries before presenting it to the client.
