My job as a payments agent in capital one was mainly to take payments over the phone for capital one card holders. In order to be able to speak to any person about the account they were calling about , I had to verify very important information such as name , Date of birth, social security number etc. Once the account was pulled up and the verification successful I could share most if not any information about or on the account. Simple tasks such as waiving past due fees and informing them about activity on the account was daily. If there was a task that we were not supposed to handle we were in charge of transferring the customer to the right department.
Club Links Magazine, Diriamba — Sales Agent

My job at Club Links Magazine was to cold call businesses of any type such as window cleaners, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, Auto shops, etc. The main goal during the call was to reach the owner or decision maker of the business or company and pursue them to get online with us to be able to show them the actual magazine on our website. Once the owner was on the website , the next step was to explain the ad spaces ,with pricing and where and when the magazine would be distributed. If the owner decided to buy ad space , the last step was to take down basic information for payment and details about the ad which was later passed to another department.

October 2016 - January 2017
My job as a translator for this company was to translate from english to spanish and spanish to english. I would be part of calls such as a customer paying a light bill ,medical appointments, to automobile accidents. There would be 3 people on the line , however I could only translate as precisely as possible without having to speak as myself to explain for the client and contact.
