I have several years of experience working as a private tutor of English, Spanish and French with students of different age ranges including children, teenagers and adults, and from beginner to advanced level. Furthermore, I have worked as an English teacher in an international school and in a specialist language school, held the position of Assistant Professor of Latin American Literature, and taught chess to children.
I have translated two published books, a novel (English to Spanish) and a psychoanalysis book (French to Spanish), plus some websites, apps, brochures and catalogues. I also have experience in proofreading and editing several academic publications, especially in the field of social sciences. Furthermore, I have worked as a translator and editor for the medical and dental division of 3M, therefore I have some experience in medical translation and advertising edition, both in English and Spanish.
I am highly interested in art, especially in music, cinema and literature. I am passionate about traveling and recently completed a seven-month journey around South America. I always enjoy talking with people from all over the world getting to know about different cultures as I share things about mine.
My hobbies are watching wildlife documentaries, reading graphic novels, cooking, going to museums and small alternative music concerts.
