As I am a full-time freelancer, I have provided English-French translation, writing, proofreading, data entry, VA services to agencies and direct clients, with projects ranging from birth business contracts to web contents and academic works.
Whatever the project, my focus is always to provide a translation of the highest quality in a timely manner, with attention to the specific needs of each client. And my background as a published writer and translator with a B.A. in Literary Studies and Linguistics and an M.A. in Translation Studies has helped me to develop the technical proficiency necessary to produce finely crafted translations in a wide range of genres, with close attention to nuances of style and register, cultural references and intertextual allusions.
My prior experience in IT, Trading, medical diagnostic and telecommunications manufacturing industries in product specialist, product management, sales, marketing and webnetworking, corporate communications, marketing events coordinator as well as sales operations management roles give me a solid background to understand end-customer needs when writing contents and translating technical documentation.
