Professional with integrity who takes pride in her work and in exceeding your expectations.
I have earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science and have worked in this field for over 20 years. I have been a member of IEEE throughout my career.
My professional employment includes working for Intel Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, General Dynamics and government agencies. I've developed everything from websites, android apps, and 3D games to mission critical software with high availability, scalability and reliability. In my career, I have been a part of every aspect of software development including concept development, proposal writing, marketing through development of rapid prototypes for demonstration to the potential future customer, collection of usability data for analysis, development of software documentation from technical design specifications to end user documentation and training materials. I have been a program manager over multiple government contracts and lead teams of engineers including developers and systems engineers.
Aside from a deep passion for technology and writing software as a hobby, I also enjoy additional creative outlets such as novel writing, riding my motorcycles, quilting, playing piano and faceting gemstones. I enjoy the outdoors and animals of all kinds and share my home with many rescued pets. Additionally, I am a NASM certified personal trainer (see nasm.org for validation) and have specializations in MMA Conditioning, Fitness Nutrition and Women's Fitness.
Work Terms
I primarily work evenings and weekends but can generally be reached by email throughout the day. I prefer to work according to what is termed an "agile" methodology, meaning that I like to provide daily status, provide drafts and demos of work on an ongoing basis so that I may get feedback early and often enough so that I'm able to incorporate that feedback before the project deadline.
