I completed my higher education in the US as a Computer Engineer.
Since 2003, I have been involved with both individuals and institutions requiring translation and interpretation services. The first interpretation/translation consulting job I ever had was at the MGL agency based in Roswell, GA. My expertise and clients grew to the point where I could assist in technical/scientific projects requiring translation and interpretation. Some of these projects included clinical trials as well as development of pharmaceutical grade products.
During 2008, I assisted a forestry company, based in South America, in their initial venture into lumber production. This venture required the installation of machinery coming from Mississippi, US and for this purpose two American technicians were sent to install and train local staff in operation and maintenance. From the first contact with the technicians until the first successful run of lumber coming out of production, I handled not only the translation of technical documents and daily interactions between the technicians and the local staff but also the transfer of knowledge assuring complete understanding between the two parties. The lumber operation was very successful and still exists today.
I have been fortunate enough to participate in radio, newspaper and tv interviews in South America where I interpreted in multiple shows the work and life of a South African scientist working in South America in innovative health industry projects. The interviews were recorded, and they are available to any interested party.
I am available and capable of joining projects requiring copywriting services at the company/institution level as well as working with individuals and their specific needs.
