These skills and experiences includes but are not limited to as follows:
• Helping colleagues with complex IT/technical related issues
• Setting up and troubleshooting a range of devices from Windows, Mac’s, mobile devices (Android and iPhone)
• Use a range of RMM tools (eg. Labtech, Kaseya, RDP, WinRA, Joinme, Teamviewer)
• Managing network shares (file servers/print servers)
• Managing VM’s (VMWare Vsphere client 5.5 and Web Client)
• Physical and Virtual Servers management and maintenance
• Exchange server 2007, 2010, 2013, EMS, Office 365, Powershell
• Active Directory in Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012
• Creating GPO’s or updating batch scripts as needed for drive mapping
• Virus/spy-ware removal
• Backup checks, backup monitoring and troubleshooting failed backups (ShadowProtect, Veeam Backup and Replication)
• NAS systems administration (FreeNAS and Napp-it)
• Knowledge on network infrastructure setup, troubleshooting, and configuration of:
•• Cisco Routers and Switches and Juniper routers
•• Firewall Appliances e.g. Watchguard Firebox, m0n0wall, Sonic wall
• Familiarity with Linux systems and Linux commands
• Using ticketing systems (Connectwise and Autotask)
• Creating/updating documentation in the Knowledge Base
Work Terms
Would be great to be on an hourly basis remote support work with minimum of 30 work hours per week.
