I count myself lucky to be a happy lawyer. I was blessed to have worked at 3 of the 10 highest ranked & regarded "biglaw" firms in NYC during & after graduating cum from Michigan Law School.

My practice involves broad-based commercial real estate transactions advising international & domestic clients in complex real estate & corporate deals, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, real estate fund formations, development "air" rights transfers, mortgage financings, membership interest purchases, restructurings, IPOs and securities offerings. I represent a variety of clients, including property developers, private equity funds, fund managers and advisers, state-run investment funds, real estate investment trusts, and other institutional investors in public and private sectors.

Despite working on some of the largest deals in the country (e.g., Hudson Yards and Time Warner Building), I love representing individual sellers and buyers in acquiring and selling residential properties and working with people, one-on-one, to achieve the best results. I have over 3 years of experience working on all type of residential real estate transactions whether it be co-ops, condominiums or residential homes and two 2 years of experience as in-house counsel to a corporation. I pride myself on my clients' happiness during a potentially stressful period in their life.

My rate while working at my previous 3 firms ran between $400 to $550 since I had the privilege and honor of working and being trained by some of the finest Real Estate attorneys at my 3previous firms--ranked as 3 of the top 10 Real Estate department in the country. The work was grueling but rewarding. While I enjoy my work as legal counsel for my current job, I am often asked to help my friends close their homes that I thought it would be a wonderful side-job.

Even if I am outside of your price range, I urge you to ask me anything. Many lawyers are generalists & therefore charge far less. Please do your research and do not : record documents; omit title exceptions; reconcile surveys with the legal deed description w/ detrimental results. I assist my clients in resolving these matters.

Work Terms

I am an experienced attorney the area of Real Estate & Corporate Law. I accelerated my practical legal training & experience due to the massive lay-offs during the recession. I ran transactions meant for 3rd to 5th year during my 1st year.

I strongly negotiate the best terms for my clients. I count myself lucky that I have extensive knowledge in real estate, corporate, tax and finance law. In particular, I have been the lead attorney on countless residential & commercial properties (e.g., co-ops, condominiums, retail & office properties).

My work at my 1st firm quickly caught the attention of other firmsand soon I was working extensively on "air rights" (the purchase of a contingent property's unused airspace to increase the height of the property on my client's purchased lot). I learned from the best mentor on the subject of "Air Rights". "Air Rights" is not generally found in other cities and states due to sufficient space. Manhattan, however, has nowhere to go but up. My mentor & I were known as the preeminent authority on "air rights".

I recruited by several other law firms to work in their Real Estate and Corporate departments w/ the promise of providing me training on a broader-based practice rather than one that is mainly niche & exclusive to "air rights" in NYC. Soon I was spearheading a team of 10 junior associates to help me close on the empire state building's portfolio of 13 commercial and retail properties.

I am flexible depending on the urgency of any matter. I will always be available for last-minute work or to attend closings. I am happy to work with your chosen title company but have, to clear violations by the DOB, and obtain Certificate of Occupancy. I hold your hand every step of the way and I have always had happy clients come back with referrals or for their second homes. I am humbled by their kinds and hope we will be able to work together as well!
